Sabah News August 15, 2012 17:15 PM Malaysia Pharmceutical Society To Host FAPA Congress In KK Soon KOTA KINABALU, Aug 15 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society (MPS) will host the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Association (FAPA) Congress in Sabah in 2014. In announcing this, its president Datuk Nancy Ho said MPS won the bid at the Taipei FAPA Congress in 2010 and was looking forward to organise FAPA 2014 here for four days beginnning Oct 9. "We are happy that Sabah is chosen to host the 2014 FAPA Congress with the theme, "Enhancing Pharmacists' Role in Wellness and Sustainable Health". "We will do our utmost to make this international event successful," she told reporters, here, today, adding that some 1,200 delegates from 22 countries were expected to attend the congress. She said various working papers would be presented during the congress, namely on Community Pharmacy, Drug Marketing and Socio-Economic Pharmacy, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Education. -- BERNAMA
