Northern Region News July 14, 2012 20:20 PM Sungai Chuchoh To Be Transformed Into 'Uniciti' PADANG BESAR, July 14 (Bernama) -- Universiti Malaysia Perlis (Unimap) will transform Sungai Chuchoh into a students residential centre, known as Uniciti, said Perlis Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu. He said the project worth more than RM60 million involved construction of 480 apartment units, 83 three-storey shoplots and eight four-storey shop units on eight hectares land. He said the transformation could uplift the socio-economic status of the locals. He said this in his speech at the Uniciti project launching ceremony, in Sungai Chuchoh, here Saturday. Also present were Padang Besar Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid and UniMAP Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Kamarudin Hussin. -- BERNAMA
