Eastern Region News June 21, 2012 17:07 PM Tekun Granted Loans To 24,500 Entrepreneurs In Terengganu Since 1998 KUALA TERENGGANU, June 21 (Bernama) -- Some 24,500 entrepreneurs in Terengganu have received loans under the Tabung Ekonomi Kumpulan Usaha Niaga Nasional(Tekun) financing facility worth RM270 million since 1998, the second highest number of entrepreneurs in a state funded by the body after Selangor Terengganu Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said based on Tekun's recordS, most of the recipients were repaying their monthly installments accordingly and that there were only isloated cases of dafulters. He told this to reporters after officiating the 2012 Terengganu Entrepreneurs Assembly at the Wisma Darul Iman, here, today. Also present were Tekun chief executive officer, Datuk Abdul Rahim Hassan, Terengganu Entrepreneurs Development Foundation chief executive officer, Azmi Razik and state MARA director, Abdullah Muhammad.
