NS Police Seek Man To Help In Murder Case

SEREMBAN, June 12 (Bernama) -- Negri Sembilan police are looking for a man after the body of a man in his 50s with stab wounds was found by the side of Jalan Linggi-Lubuk Cina on May 15.

State CID chief ACP Hamdan Majid said police were looking for Ausman Mohd Dahlan or Din, 50, from No: 5, Lorong Jaya 1, Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur and 389, Lorong Teluk 5, Kampung Teluk, Pasir Panjang, Batu 16, Port Dickson.

"Ausman, who is a traditional healer, is believed to be the last man the victim had met," he told reporters, here, today.

He said investigation found the victim was from Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. He went missing after leaving his house to meet a friend in Port Dickson on May 14. He said the wife of the victim, who was the driver of someone in Kuala Lumpur, lodged a police report on May 18 after a futile search.

"Subsequently, police detained three men, in their 30s, in Perak and seized a car believed to have been used by the victim when he left the house. The suspects, who were friends of Ausman, were remanded until June 15," he said.
