Southern Region News May 29, 2012 15:30 PM 152 UTeM Staff Receive Excellence Service Awards MELAKA, May 29 (Bernama) -- A total of 152 staff of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) today received excellence service awards. UTeM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Ahmad Yusoff Hassan said they were picked from among 1,638 candidates. Those selected received RM1,000 and a certificate. Dr Ahmad Yusoff said he hoped that the awards would inspire and motivate the staff to improve work quality. Staff must enhance creativity and show commitment to raise the standard of the university, he said in his speech at the presentation of the awards. -- BERNAMA
