Eastern Region News May 24, 2012 17:43 PM Mara Allocated RM34 Million To Kelantan Entrepreneurs KOTA BAHARU, May 24 (Bernama) -- Small and medium size entrepreneurs in Kelantan are encouraged to apply for loans from the RM34 million provided by Mara to develop their business, this year. Rural and Regional Development Deputy Minister Datuk Hasan Malek said the business run by entrepreneurs in the state had the potential to be expanded, not only here but overseas as well. "Herbs and sandalwood products are among products that have been identified as products with high commercial value and profitable," he told reporters after launching the Young Meet Young programme, here Thursday. He said Mara also provided advisory assistance to new entrepreneurs to ensure that their business would be succeed. Regarding the Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) in Tunjong, Hasan said he hoped that the entrepreneurs in the state should benefited facilities that were provided at the centre. -- BERNAMA
