Central Region News May 23, 2012 20:28 PM 8 Pakistan Nationals File RM40 Million Suit Against 12 Including Home Minister KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 (Bernama) -- Eight Pakistan nationals Wednesday filed a RM40 million suit against two directors of a transport company, the Home Minister and Malaysian government over alleged wrongdoings including abduction and wrongful detention. The compensation claimed is also over alleged damage to property, abuse, wrongful arrest and issuing of threats. The eight plaintiffs are Rajid Ali, Rahman Sadieq, Waqar Ali Abdul Rahman, Abdul Samad, Akmal Hussain, Syed Waqar Ali, Khalid Hussain and Imran Khan. They were represented by lawyer Ravi Sodhi who filed the suit at the Civil High Court Registrar's Office, here, through Messrs Watsons Peters & Mohd Fuad. -- BERNAMA
