Southern Region News May 15, 2012 17:31 PM 42 Events To Celebrate Negeri Sembilan Youth Day SEREMBAN, May 15 (Bernama) -- Some 42 attractive programmes will be carried out during the three-day carnival in conjunction with the 2012 Negeri Sembilan Youth Day celebrations held from May 18-20. State Youth and Sports director Baharudin Jali said that the events which would take place at the Paroi Youth and Sports Complex, would be filled with exhibitions, youth entrepreneur's expo, motosports carnival such as go-kart course, mini bike, advance riding and motor cross circuit. He said a variety of sports tournaments would also be organized such as pool, petanque, wheelchair basketball, three-on-three basketball, ball juggling, traditional sports, lawn bowl for disabled, sepak takraw, netball, volleyball and a Menteri Besar Cup futsal tournament. The carnival would also see performance from various artists, exhibition from government agencies and aerobics, while visitors can also experience hot balloon rides and horse riding, he added. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan is expected to launch the celebration on Saturday. -- BERNAMA
