Sabah News May 15, 2012 16:49 PM Tour Bus Catches Fire, 10 Chinese Tourists Safe TUARAN, May 15 (Bernama) -- A mini tour bus carrying 10 Chinese tourists caught fire on its journey from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau this morning. According to district Fire and Rescue senior assistant superintendent Kairul Amir Pajar Ali, all the passengers aged between 40 and 50, were, however, safe in the 9.15am incident in Jalan Kampung Minangkop, near here. "In the incident, driver Nelson Vun Chee Vui, 38, found his vehicle having a problem while going uphill and stopped at the roadside. "The driver asked all passengers to disembark and almost immediately after that, the vehicle was on fire," he said. Kairul Amir said a fire-engine and van from Tuaran with a team of 15 personnel rushed to the scene after getting a call at 9.17am. -- BERNAMA
