Eastern Region News April 21, 2012 14:57 PM 122 Indera Mahkota PKR Members Join BN KUANTAN, April 21 (Bernama) -- A total 122 members of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) from the Indera Mahkota division left the party to join Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties Saturday. Former Indera Mahkota PKR permanent chairman, Abdul Hamid Ibrahim said he was tired and fed up with the struggle pursued the party. "All and sundry knows that the party never keeps its promises. Most who followed me out of PKR did so not due to persuasion from the BN, but willingly, based on their own evaluations," he told reporters here, today. He earlier represented the former PKR members, comprising 90 Malays and 32 Indians, to hand over application forms to become members of BN component parties to Indera Mahkota Umno Division chief Datuk Hazmi Yusof. -- BERNAMA
